Susanne Kaspar, BSc

Susanne studied Pharmacy at the University of Vienna and received her bachelor’s degree in 2023. She is currently in the last semester of her master’s degree in Pharmacy and is in the process of conducting research for her master thesis. She first joined the lab of Prof. Sophia Khom, where she tested novel non-benzodiazepine-like compounds through 2-microelectrode voltage clamp on Oocytes, to identify new GABAA-receptor agonists. Currently she is doing additional research on this topic in the Cheminformatics group under the supervision of Mag. Dr. Verena Battisti. This includes in silico analysis to further evaluate her experimental results.
