Abdulfatai Lawal holds a Bsc degree in Industrial and Environmental Chemistry from Fountain University in Nigeria. He is currently enrolled in the Erasmus Masters degree in ChemoInformatics. In the first year of his studies, he was at the University of Milan, following the Physical Chemistry track, afterwards, he moved to the University of Strasbourg.

His research interests revolves around the application of machine and deep learning techniques to unlock insights from chemical data, particularly in the areas of chemical structure representations and Interpretable deep learning.
