Andrea Panzeri, BSc

Andrea Panzeri was born in Italy in 2001. In 2023, he earned his BSc in Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Milano, with a thesis on the computational modelling of glycomimetic ligands for C-type lectins. He was then accepted into the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's program (EMJM) ChEMoinformatics+, where he had the opportunity to deepen his knowledge of physical chemistry during his first year in Milan and gain insight into cheminformatics during a semester at Université de Strasbourg. He joined the Cheminformatics Research Group to pursue an internship focused on De Novo Pharmacophore Generation, under the supervision of Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Oliver Wieder. This work will serve as the foundation for his Master's thesis.
